Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Community Staff Pharmacist Floater to join our pharmacy team. This PRN role will service multiple Baptist Health Community Pharmacy locations between Louisville and LaGrange as needed.

You will assist the manager with operations, staff orientation, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing dispensing workflows, immunization delivery, and medication safety, along with managing inventory and 340B program integrity where applicable.

Qualifications

• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must obtain Immunization certification within 6 months of hire.
• Community Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be available and willing to travel to Baptist Health Community Pharmacy locations (Louisville/LaGrange, KY).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Pharmacy Manager with oversight of pharmacy operations and personnel.
• Support the orientation, training, and development of community pharmacy staff.
• Ensure compliance with Baptist Health policies, 340B program, accrediting bodies, REMS, third-party payers, and state/federal regulations.
• Ensure timely completion of all claim and invoice reconciliation as needed.
• Ensure adequate control and documentation of controlled substances ordering, receiving, inventory, and dispensing in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain immunization protocols and ensure staff have current training (including BLS).
• Coordinate safe transitions of care from hospital to patients and other care providers.
• Perform responsibilities of Community Pharmacy Manager during their absence.
