Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Staff Pharmacist at our Waukesha, WI store. This position offers Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities. You will fill prescriptions, educate patients, and mentor technicians while upholding Meijer policies and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee immunizations where allowed.
