Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to join the Brand and Growth Marketing team. The role involves planning, managing, and executing outreach programs, sponsorships, partnerships, and events that deepen OU Health's ties with communities across Oklahoma.

You will be the primary contact for external stakeholders and help shape engagement strategies. Responsibilities include developing community initiatives, managing a portfolio of partnerships, coordinating events, and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience in community relations, nonprofit work, public relations, or related field.
• For Level III: at least 5 years of experience and demonstrated portfolio management of community partnerships.
• Valid unrestricted State of Oklahoma Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute community outreach programs, sponsorships, partnerships and events across Oklahoma.
• Identify stakeholders and independently build and maintain relationships with community leaders, nonprofits and local influencers.
• Serve as primary contact for community members and partners, addressing inquiries promptly.
• Manage OU Health's participation in events, sponsorships, volunteer programs, and fundraisers from planning through execution.
• Ensure delivery of all contract deliverables within timelines and partner expectations.
• Collaborate with marketing/communications to develop community-related content and campaigns.
