Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA in Georgia seeks a Community Collaboration Coordinator to identify and nurture partnerships with organizations, schools, and faith communities. The role aims to expand exposure, support, and volunteer pools, while maximizing resources to increase impact.

Duties include program design guidelines, outreach to local groups, and building a strong community network. The program runs 10/19/2026–10/18/2027 and is full-time, located in Atlanta. English language required.

Qualifications

• Some college education or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility for AmeriCorps VISTA program and ability to commit to the 1-year term.

Responsibilities

• Identify and nurture relationships with potential partners (organizations, schools, faith communities).
• Expand exposure, support, volunteer pool, and resources; create opportunities for members and families.
• Outreach to local community organizations, including houses of worship and nonprofit partners.
• Create project guidelines detailing activities and interventions deployed in local communities.
