Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in public relations, communications, social work, community development, or a closely related field.
• Two years of experience in community outreach or engagement; substitution allowed.
• One year of experience with Pima County in a relevant position may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing promotional activities for community programs.
• Supports planning and participation in administrative and operational activities.
• Collaborates with county departments and the public on outreach events and programs.
• Addresses barriers to participation for diverse communities.
• Maintains liaison relationships and coordinates engagement activities with agencies and organizations.
• Supports communications, newsletters, and outreach efforts.
• Organizes and facilitates engagement activities and events.
• Maintains related webpages and social media accounts.
• Collects data, prepares reports, and compiles statistics for management.
