We are seeking Community Outreach Representatives who are passionate about connecting neighbors to meaningful nonprofit programs. This role focuses on face-to-face engagement, educating the public about services and volunteer opportunities, and creating positive impressions for the organizations we represent.
Your work will include staffing scheduled events, canvassing approved public spaces, and operating at community-facing locations where you will inform and enlist participation. Training is provided, so previous nonprofit experience is not required — we welcome reliable, empathetic, and coachable individuals who enjoy public interaction.
The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with a wide range of people, communicates confidently, and thrives in social, public-facing environments. You should be punctual, open to receiving direction, and effective working with a team. A positive, professional demeanor is essential. Relevant experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, events, fundraising, or outreach is a plus but not required.
Full-time: Monday through Friday with possible weekend shifts for events. Anticipated annual earnings typically fall between $39,000-$59,000. Exact compensation will be determined during hiring discussions.
This in-person position requires frequent interaction with the public at retail locations, neighborhood events, and other approved public sites.
