Job summary

Wider Circle in New Jersey seeks a Community Liaison to knock on doors, build partnerships with senior centers, physician offices, hospitals, faith and civic organizations, and local agencies to enroll community members in our services.

This full-time temporary role runs through the end of 2026 with the potential to convert to a permanent position; travel across Essex County and surrounding areas is required, and you'll be a visible, trusted face for Wider Circle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in community outreach or sales is a plus.
• Ability to commute within Essex County and neighboring counties.

Responsibilities

• Knock on doors and build partnerships with senior centers, hospitals, faith and civic organizations, and local agencies.
• Establish regular meetings to understand needs and align services.
• Plan and lead community engagement activities and present Wider Circle’s services.
• Create direct referral channels from community organizations.
• Meet community members and help them enroll in services.
• Identify adults who could benefit and track visits with records.
