Job summary

The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a part-time Community Outreach Specialist to engage local girls and families in Toledo and surrounding Title I communities. You will lead and support school-based sessions, recruit volunteers, and promote the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

This role is community-based, requires public speaking, and involves daytime hours with some weekends. Travel up to 50 miles is expected, with mileage reimbursement available; schedule is flexible, August through

Qualifications

• Public speaking experience and comfort presenting to groups.
• Experience engaging with schools and community organizations.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers and events.
• Familiar with basic computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Girl Scout programs in Title One schools/areas.
• Collaborate with schools and community networks to raise visibility for Girl Scouts.
• Support volunteers in program delivery and events.
• Monitor evaluation results and adjust delivery as needed.
