Job summary

PathStone-Corporation is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to lead recruitment and enrollment activities for program participants in rural and underserved communities. The role enhances access to community resources and supports client services including employment, training, emergency and referral services.

The position works with a team to achieve program goals, maintain records, and report on outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Up to three years of training/work experience in job training and employment or related area, focusing on rural, unemployed, previously incarcerated, high school dropouts and farmworker populations.
• Working knowledge of computers and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Acquire full knowledge of services offered by PathStone, including eligibility criteria.
• Maintain accurate participant records and files for Outreach.
• Submit timely reports on Outreach activities.
• Recruit and enroll clients for training and employment opportunities.
• Provide updates on participants in case management records.
• Analyze assessment results and synthesize labor market information.
• Formulate employability plans based on assessments and barriers.
• Disseminate program information to employers and service agencies.
• Coordinate case management to meet goals and objectives.
• Travel to participant locations to inform, recruit and enroll individuals.
• Screen participants to align goals with program objectives.
• Ensure participant eligibility prior to Outreach enrollment.
• Develop written individualized employability plans.
• Collaborate with agencies and employers to identify employment trends and referrals.
• Link participants to training and employment services within ten days of enrollment.
• Attend conferences to maintain and upgrade skills.
• Market training programs and develop placement opportunities for job-ready participants.
• Develop and conduct Outreach information sessions for communities.
• Coordinate Outreach across diverse programs for maximum impact.
• Develop Job Readiness training and train Outreach staff and participants.
