Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator Company: Smart Energy Solutions Location: Greater Denver/Boulder, Fort Collins/Greeley, and Colorado Springs, CO Job Type: Part-Time (with potential for full-time advancement) Compensation: $30–$40 per hour + performance bonuses Schedule: 3–4 hours/day, 4 days/week + 6 hours on Saturdays (No Sundays required but available)

Position Overview

We’re looking for passionate, people-first Community Outreach Coordinators to join our growing team. You’ll be the face of Smart Energy Solutions in your local community, having real conversations with households at their doors, at their businesses, through social media, by phone, text, at local seminars, and through webinars. Your goal? Help residents fill out a short survey and book a follow‑up appointment. That’s it.

This is a high‑impact role with a flexible schedule, great pay, and the chance to grow with a purpose‑driven company.

What You’ll Do

• Walk door‑to‑door in assigned neighborhoods and business districts (2–5 miles per shift)
• Conduct webinars twice a month
• Post on social media and Linkedin
• Assist residents and business owners in completing a simple energy survey
• Schedule follow‑up appointments for further consultation
• Engage community members in friendly, educational conversations. No selling
• Host or participate in seminars and webinars
• Work with communities’ offices of sustainability throughout Colorado to educate, train and do missionary level education about what can be done with renewable solutions.
• Represent Smart Energy Solutions with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Track interactions and survey completions accurately
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings as needed
• A creative self‑starter who loves talking to people.
• Comfortable and able to walking and working outdoors
• Confident in one‑on‑one conversations and small group settings
• Passionate about helping others, saving money, and energy independence
• Reliable, consistent, and committed to personal growth
• Able to pass a background check and a personality/engagement assessment. Second chance candidates encouraged to apply

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Smart phone with active service with data plan
• Basic computer skills to include office productivity software, mobile apps and CRM is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically able to walk several miles per day when applicable
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must be available Saturdays (no Sunday work required but available if you wish)
• Previous outreach, education, survey taking canvassing, education, or customer service experience a plus—but not required
• $30–$40 or more /hour average pay (base + performance bonuses). Uncapped earnings.
• Weekly pay after week two
