Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Utah is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care, assess functional abilities, and develop personalized treatment plans to help patients regain independence. The role emphasizes collaborative teamwork, supervision of care, and delivery of compassionate, evidence-based therapy within a supportive environment.

A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with solid clinical experience, with active licensure and CPR

Qualifications

• Active state licensure or certification required by regulation.
• CPR certification required.
• Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor's Degree with substantial experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments; lead patient assessments.
• Create and implement personalized care plans; monitor progress.
• Address patient concerns and engage families when appropriate.
• Build strong therapeutic relationships to support recovery and independence.
• Celebrate patient victories and outcomes with the care team.
