Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life within our community. You will provide compassionate, personalized OT services using advanced rehabilitation technology in a supportive team environment.

You will perform direct patient care, supervise care plans and assessments, and build meaningful relationships with patients as they progress toward recovery, celebrating each milestone together.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree with sufficient field experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
