Benevis is seeking a Full-time Orthodontic Assistant in Lafayette, LA. The role supports our mission to provide high-quality dental care in a community setting, with a focus on teamwork and patient experience.

You'll work with orthodontic professionals, handle x-rays, chair-side assistance, and patient education. CPR/BLS and LA X-ray certification are required. Prior orthodontic experience is preferred, and some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required and LA X-ray certification is required.
• Prior orthodontic experience is preferred.
• Willing to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
• Guide parents and patients through our processes before treatment.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene and provide postoperative instructions.
• Prepare patient for examination and treatment.
• Take x-rays and save to patient charts.
• Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Assist professional dental staff with treatment.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient chart.
