Job summary

Clean Water Action in Northampton, MA is hiring Community Organizer roles (full-time, part-time, or internship) to energize local canvassing campaigns and advocate for clean water, environmental justice, and public health.

You will engage communities to educate, fundraise, and mobilize support for policy priorities, gain hands-on experience in grassroots advocacy, and pursue opportunities for career growth. This is an in-person role based in Northampton with a 2:00 PM–9:00 PM schedule.

As part of the team, you will:

• Engage with communities to educate, fundraise, and mobilize support for Clean Water Action’s policy priorities, such as combating climate change, advocating for clean water affordability, and banning toxic chemicals.

• Advocate for legislative action to address systemic issues, including utility affordability and corporate accountability.

What We Offer

2:00 PM– 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• Full time positions between 32.5 and 40 hours a week

• This is an IN-PERSON role based in Northampton, MA. You must be within 1hr driving distance of the office or plan to relocate to qualify for employment.
• Multilingual candidates and those with backgrounds in Sociology, Political Science, Public Health, Environmental Studies, or Communications are strongly encouraged to apply.
