Job summary

Trio-Community Meals in Cleveland Heights, OH is seeking an experienced driver to join our TRIO Community Meals team. You will transport a variety of goods to locations daily, while ensuring safety and DOT regulation compliance.

You will inspect equipment, coordinate with dispatch, and provide reliable service to our community meal programs, contributing to the wellbeing of those we serve.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license for commercial vehicles.
• Acceptable driving record and excellent customer service.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Nice-to-have: at least one year of commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from assigned destinations in a safe and effective manner, complying with all DOT rules and regulations alongside state and city traffic laws.
• Complete thorough inspections of any utilized company equipment, before and after each trip.
• Keeping open communication with dispatch to ensure notification of any issues or delays on the route.
