Job summary

Frontline Source Group is seeking a Community Marketing Engagement Specialist in Albuquerque, NM. You will own the marketing function, driving social content, events, and community engagement for a beloved local grocer.

You'll manage digital presence, craft content calendars, and create experiences that turn culture and cuisine into foot traffic. Evening/weekend events and a data-driven approach are expected.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Canva, Adobe tools, and video editing basics.

Responsibilities

  • Own marketing end-to-end from strategy to execution for the brand.
  • Create and publish engaging social content across platforms; manage content calendars.
  • Plan events and community outreach to drive foot traffic and loyalty.
  • Engage with reviews and nurture customer relationships online.
  • Analyze data and report KPIs; adjust campaigns for ROI; collaborate with leadership.

Community Marketing Engagement Specialist

Our client in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a Community Marketing Engagement Specialist on a direct hire basis. This opportunity is ideal for a creative, hands-on marketer who excels in social media, content creation, and community engagement and wants to own the marketing function for a well-loved local brand. You will tell the story of what makes this company unique, drive foot traffic, and turn a loyal word-of-mouth following into a thriving, engaged community.

Community Marketing Engagement Specialist Role

As the Community Marketing Engagement Specialist, you will be the creative engine behind the company's digital presence, events, and community outreach. This is an individual contributor role where you will own marketing end-to-end, from strategy to execution. You will differentiate the brand from big-box retailers, build engaging content and experiences, and use customer data to bring new and returning customers through the doors.

Social Media and Content
  • Manage and grow social media accounts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and additional platforms
  • Post daily content showcasing store activity, new arrivals, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Build, maintain, and execute strategic content calendars
  • Create educational content that inspires customers to try foods from different cultures, including new sauces, flavors, and creative ways to use them
  • Create, proof, and schedule posts with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor engagement, grow followers, and implement best practices
  • Manage and respond to Google and Yelp reviews
  • Create ads to attract new customers; experience running paid social campaigns is a plus
Graphic Design and Creative
  • Design flyers, posters, ads, in-store signage, social media graphics, and print materials
  • Create and edit short-form videos, reels, and motion graphics using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels
  • Capture the story behind events, products, employees, and community moments through photo and video
Events and Community Engagement
  • Plan and execute events plus seasonal promotions and in-store activities
  • Research food and cultural trends and turn them into timely events, promotions, and content
  • Create fun, family-friendly activities that bring kids and parents into the store
  • Develop community partnerships and position the brand as a community hub
  • Craft messaging that reaches new audiences and encourages customers from across the region to visit
  • Attend events, including evenings and weekends, to capture photos, video, and interviews
Customer Engagement, Data, and Reporting
  • Leverage a 15,000-member loyalty program to personalize outreach and drive repeat visits
  • Help build out customer data capture to better understand who is shopping and where they are coming from
  • Use purchase data to create targeted campaigns by product category or region
  • Build reporting and KPIs from the ground up to track engagement, foot traffic, and campaign results
  • Recommend and test marketing investments with a focus on ROI
Website

Support website content updates and help identify resources to modernize the site

Additional Expectations
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Operations Director, and store leadership
  • Be available for evening and weekend events and promotions
Background Profile
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management and content creation for a business, brand, or organization
  • Portfolio required showcasing real results, including follower growth, engagement stats, and campaign outcomes
  • Strong experience using Canva, Adobe, or similar design platforms
  • Working knowledge of video editing and motion graphics
  • Comfortable shooting content on a mobile device
  • Self-starter who can take ideas from concept to execution independently
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Data and metrics-driven, with the ability to track and report results
  • Passion for food, culture, and community
Preferred Skills
  • Background in food, grocery, or retail strongly preferred
