Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Community Manager-In-Training in Oklahoma City to support regional operations across multiple communities. You will help lead operations, drive occupancy, and coordinate marketing and lease activities under the guidance of the Regional Manager.

Ideal candidates are motivated, customer-focused, and ready to develop leadership skills in a field-based role with travel across communities. A valid driver's license is required and licensing may be needed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and support all assigned communities while learning company policies and procedures.
• Manage marketing and advertising plans, conduct market surveys, and oversee sales/leasing to maximize occupancy.
• Assist with rent collections, evictions, utility cutoffs, and non-compliance notices.
• Professionally resolve resident communications and concerns.
• Provide hands-on leadership and management support to all team members.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff.
• Create and maintain a positive community environment including resident activities and events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cities, municipalities, and counties.
• Create and ensure a safe work environment.
• Protect and maintain company assets and budgets through audits.
• Build vendor relationships to ensure policy compliance and NetVendor registration.
• Attend meetings, training, and conferences as requested by management.
• Additional duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

Community Manager-In-Training Position Overview:

In this pivotal role, you will learn to lead and manage key operations, including rent collection, supply management, and team development across communities within your assigned region. You will assist the Community Manager as a liaison for residents, addressing complaints and ensuring their satisfaction. Additionally, you'll assist in financial performance and community safety decisions, all under the guidance of your supervisor.

Community Manager-In-Training Essential Functions:

1. Travel to and provide support for all assigned communities while developing a clear understanding of company policies and procedures
2. Manage marketing and advertising plans, conduct market surveys and oversee sales/leasing of all community inventory to maximize community occupancy.
3. Aid in rent collections efforts for all assigned communities including assisting with evictions, utility cut offs and issuing non-compliance notices to residents.
4. Professionally resolve resident communications and concerns
5. Provide hands-on leadership and management support to all team members
6. Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of team members when needed
7. Create and maintain a positive Community environment including resident activities and regional events
