Role Overview

The Community Manager oversees the daily operations of the community, ensuring standards are met and customer service is excellent.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspect the property regularly to ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards; suggest improvements for efficiency and profitability.
  2. Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
  3. Manage resident retention, respond promptly to service requests, and monitor resident satisfaction.
  4. Oversee repairs and maintenance requests, verify unit statuses, and ensure timely responses.
  5. Work with the Regional Manager on budgets, financial reporting, and revenue collection.
  6. Prepare operational and financial reports, review income and expenses, and manage accounts receivable.
  7. Hire, train, supervise, and mentor property team members.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3-5 years of property management experience
  • Ability to travel for training and business purposes
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Word/Excel and technology
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work with diverse groups
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or management
  • Background in Accounting/Finance, CAM, or Licensed Property Manager
  • Yardi experience is a plus
Work Schedule

9am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with possible weekend work to meet business needs.
