Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Property Manager to own the performance of our luxury multi-family communities. You will lead an on-site team, coach staff, and collaborate with Leasing to drive occupancy and service excellence.

You will monitor financials, review budgets, and read reports to optimize operations and maximize economic occupancy while maintaining exceptional resident care. We offer strong benefits and growth opportunities for hands-on leaders.

Qualifications

  • Three years or more of Property Manager experience preferred.
  • Property lease up experience preferred.
  • Must have strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with individuals of varying.
  • Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates a positive “can do” demeanor, takes pride in achieving results and has a self-starter mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a high-quality on-site team through effective coaching/training, communication, and overall leadership to ensure the team is fulfilling their highest potential
  • Collaborates with the leasing team to ensure all social media outlets are regularly utilized and develops a marketing plan and sales strategies
  • Leads daily/weekly inspirational team meetings with the goal to exceed and be the best in a competitive market
  • Maintains thorough product knowledge of the community and competition
  • Interacts with residents with the highest level of customer service
  • Ensures that all physical aspects of the property are fully operational and safe
  • Inspects grounds, buildings, and apartments regularly
  • Implements all policies and procedures outlined in the company policies
  • Reads and understands financial reports and budgets of the community
  • Understands economic occupancy as compared to the vacancy rate on each property and how delinquent rent payments will significantly cut into economic occupancy
  • Uses sound financial knowledge to successfully lease up every community
  • Understands key financial terminology
  • Uses financial reports to determine and act upon needs
  • Understands how to use metrics to drive results
