Job summary

Grovewood Place I & II in Grove City, OH seeks a Community Manager to oversee affordable housing operations, including move-ins, recertifications, and file management. The role requires HUD compliance and budget adherence, with supervision of a small team and coordination with vendors and residents.

The position offers full-time daytime work with benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor\'s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Experience in apartment management or HUD subsidized housing preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver\'s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all move-ins, move-outs, and recertifications per HUD Handbook 4350.3 and LSS requirements.
• Maintain and process resident, vendor, and facility files per HUD/LSS requirements.
• Promote quality of life by managing the HUD facility\'s building and grounds within budget.
• Supervise staff including Assistant Manager, Service Coordinator, Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
• Assist in preparing annual operating budgets, capital plans, and special claims.
• Address resident relations, grievances, and evictions per policy.
• Ensure professional contacts with community and agencies for relationships.
• Create and analyze reports and monthly management summaries for supervisor.
• Assist with training programs and file audits as needed.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
