Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and tech-savvy Community Manager to build, engage, and grow our DevOps community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering discussions, managing online and offline community initiatives, and driving brand awareness among developers, DevOps engineers, and IT professionals. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices, industry trends, and developer engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Build, nurture, and expand the DevOps community across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Reddit, Medium, etc.).
  • Actively engage with community members, addressing queries, facilitating discussions, and promoting knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and collaborate with DevOps influencers, ambassadors, and thought leaders.

Content & Knowledge Sharing

  • Create and curate high-quality content (blogs, newsletters, discussions) to educate and engage the DevOps community.
  • Share updates on company services, open-source initiatives, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Work with internal teams to develop technical documentation, tutorials, and case studies for the community.

Community Support & Advocacy

  • Act as the primary liaison between the community and internal teams, providing feedback on features, tools, and integrations.
  • Support users with product adoption by guiding them to relevant resources and solutions.
  • Advocate for community needs and identify opportunities for improvement in products and services.

Metrics & Strategy

  • Track community growth, engagement, and feedback using analytics tools.
  • Develop strategies to increase participation, retention, and impact within the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Report on key community KPIs and suggest improvements based on data insights.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 6+months of experience as a Community Manager, Developer Relations, or similar role in a tech or DevOps environment.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD, automation, cloud computing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Experience managing online communities on Slack, Discord, GitHub, LinkedIn, and other developer forums.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging content for a technical audience.
  • Experience organizing events, meetups, or hackathons is a plus.
  • Knowledge of open-source communities and developer advocacy is a bonus.
