Job summary

Applause is seeking a Community Manager to support and expand a global tester community of 1M+ members across 240 countries. You will recruit participants, improve tester experiences, and strengthen Applause’s brand and community presence.

Ideal candidate lives in Central or West Coast time zones, has recruiting experience at scale, and a proven track record of delivering results with strong analytical and creative skills.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a community manager
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building online forums, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. test attendance KPIs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Hands on experience with social media management for brands
• Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
• Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Degree in Marketing or relevant field

Community Manager

Applause is adding a new Community Manager to the team to help support and expand our community of over 1 million professional software testers from 240 countries and territories around the world.

This role has several major responsibilities including identifying and recruiting participants for specific customer requests in support of our Applause delivery teams, working to improve and streamline the tester experience within our community, and contributing to Applause’s uTest brand and community awareness.

We want someone who lives in the Central or West Coast time zone and has experienced the world of recruiting, including sourcing large numbers of individuals, sometimes with very specific and complex demographics or requirements. This person will have a proven track record of driving results and meeting deadlines, as well as be analytical, creative and possess an acute attention to detail.

The total salary range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000
