Job summary

Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is seeking an energetic Community Manager to join our Franklin, IN team. You will handle resident relations, rent collections, and daily coordination with the maintenance team in a family‑oriented, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years of residential property management experience, plus strong communication and organizational skills. A Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Two years minimum experience in residential property management.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours and overtime/weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and friendly customer service to residents.
• Collect rents and prepare receipts and late notices.
• Prepare correspondence and documents; answer phones and greet residents.
• Maintain resident files and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate daily activity of Maintenance Team and move-in calendar.

Responsibilities

• Professional and friendly customer service.
• Collection of rents and preparation of receipts and late notices.
• Compose correspondence and documents; Answer phones and greet residents in a professional manner.
• Maintain professional communication with residents, applicants and representatives of other companies.
• Maintain all residents files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed and all apartments inspected and compliant with established standards prior to move-in.
• Coordinate daily activity of Maintenance Team.

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Two years minimum experience in residential property management required.
• Customer-focused approach
• Great with people- warm, friendly and helpful both in person and on the phone.
• Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, team members and Property Manager at all times.
• Possess dynamic attitude, superior customer service, verbal communication, written communication and follow up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills, especially in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours and must be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of the job's functions.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Compensation will be based on the requisite skills presented at the time of hiring.
