Property West Residential is actively recruiting Maintenance Technicians for our Carlsbad, Del Mar and Encinitas portfolios. This role supports property upkeep across interiors and exteriors, ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated with tools in hand, able to multi-task and respond to 24-hour emergencies. We offer paid training, company events, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Interior/exterior painting and ability to use airless sprayer.
• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks.
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors.
• Make ready/turnover units for new move in.
• Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Complete resident work orders in a quality and timely manner.
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping.
• Pool maintenance experience preferred.
• Coordinate special projects as directed by Regional Maintenance Supervisor

Job Requirements

Maintenance and Rehab Technicians must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Maintenance Tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
