Job summary

Center for Human Services is seeking a Community Living Professional Manager to lead the Community Living team, supervise staff, and coordinate activities across locations to support individuals with disabilities.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with families, providers, and state agencies. A Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of management and 1 year in the field are required; nonprofit experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of managerial experience and 1 year in intellectual or developmental disabilities, total 7 years of education/experience.
• Non-profit experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable, licensed and insured vehicle.
• Reliable form of communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Community Living staff; provide ISP training and performance feedback.
• Coordinate activities across locations; collaborate with families, support coordinators, and DMH/regulatory agencies.
• Maintain MARs accuracy and oversee ISP implementation; ensure discharge summaries and documentation quality.
• Support individuals’ health by coordinating with a Community RN and overseeing annual or as-needed medical exams.
• Ensure adequate workforce coverage; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and respond promptly to needs.
