Sevita's ResCare Community Living in San Antonio, TX is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Worker to ensure all grounds and equipment are safe, maintained, and reliable for residents and staff.

You will oversee preventative maintenance across multiple programs, coordinate with contractors, and manage inventory of parts and supplies while adhering to safety regulations and building codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate maintenance and electrical equipment.
• Current state contractor license if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing preventative maintenance across programs/offices in the region.
• Plan and schedule work with available resources and equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure quality of work.
• Analyze and resolve service equipment complaints.
• Maintain building and grounds in compliance with laws.
• Repair kitchen, housekeeping, and other equipment incl. HVAC, electrical/plumbing, painting, laundry.
• Read blueprints and implement work; wire buildings for networking.
• Plan inventory control for equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain appliance motors, pumps, and fans as recommended.
• Work with inspectors, fire marshals, and vendors; maintain fire alarm system.
• Maintain safety records and observe regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
