Job summary

A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Community Living Instructor (CLI) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with disabilities in Castro Valley. This very part-time position offers a flexible schedule and meaningful, hands-on care in the home and community.

You will teach independent living skills, promote safety and confidence, and receive paid training before working independently. The role requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided before working independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Drug screening, DOJ fingerprint clearance, and negative TB test required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Responsibilities

• Support an individual with disabilities in learning to drive safely along their designated route.
• Provide guidance and verbal prompts to develop driving skills and build confidence.
• Reinforce safe driving practices, traffic laws, road awareness, and route familiarity.

Part-Time Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities
Schedule: 2 days per week, 2 hours per morning shift

A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Community Living Instructor (CLI) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Castro Valley.

This is a very part-time position ideal for someone looking to supplement their income while making a meaningful impact.

Position Overview

As a CLI, you will provide direct support and teach independent living skills in the participant's home and community. Your goal is to promote independence, safety, and confidence through personalized care and encouragement.

Responsibilities

• Support an individual with disabilities in learning to drive safely along his designated route.
• Provide guidance and verbal prompts to help the individual develop driving skills and build confidence.
• Reinforce safe driving practices, traffic laws, road awareness, and route familiarity.
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and support throughout the driving practice.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
