Role Description

The Community Life Leader is a full-time, on-site role located in Ambler, PA, responsible for creating a vibrant, engaging community life for residents. This role plans, coordinates, and facilitates daily activities, events, and programs that support social, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The Community Life Leader collaborates with nursing, personal care, and other team members to tailor activities to residents’ interests, preferences, and abilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing group and one-on-one activities, promoting resident participation, maintaining activity calendars, and documenting engagement. The role also involves building relationships with residents and families, coordinating community partnerships and volunteers, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards during all programs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Community Engagement abilities to build meaningful relationships and foster an inclusive environment.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with residents, families, and staff.

• Experience working with older adults or in senior living, long-term care, or social services is highly beneficial.
• Ability to plan and lead group activities, adapt programs for varying levels of ability, and maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in recreation, social work, gerontology, or a related field is a plus.
