Assisting Hands Home Care in the Greenbelt/Scaggsville area seeks a part-time Community Liaison and Marketer to boost local awareness and referral partnerships. You will connect families, healthcare providers, and community groups with our compassionate home care services.

Develop and nurture referral relationships, represent us at health fairs and community events, educate families and providers about services, coordinate outreach campaigns, and track engagement metrics for monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare marketing or business development experience.
• Strong network of Maryland healthcare and senior services landscape.
• Excellent relationship-building and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture referral relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, SNFs, senior centers, and physician offices.
• Represent Assisting Hands at health fairs, senior expos, and community events to increase brand visibility.

• Track outreach activities, referral volume, and community engagement metrics for monthly reporting.

Assisting Hands Home Care

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a part‑time Community Liaison / Marketer to drive local awareness and referral partnerships in the Scaggsville/Greenbelt area. This role is critical to connecting families, healthcare providers, and community organizations with the compassionate care services we provide.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture referral relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, skilled nursing facilities, senior centers, and physician offices


• Represent Assisting Hands at health fairs, senior expos, and community events to increase brand visibility


• Educate referral sources and families on our home care services, specialties, and client care standards


• Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, and outreach campaigns aligned with company brand guidelines


• Track outreach activities, referral volume, and community engagement metrics for monthly reporting


• Partner with operations and clinical teams to ensure messaging reflects our quality of care

Ideal Candidate

• 2+ years experience in healthcare marketing, community relations, or business development, preferably in home care, hospice, or senior living


• Strong network or familiarity with Maryland healthcare and senior services landscape


• Exceptional relationship‑building and public speaking skills


• Proficient with CRM tools, social media, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace


• Compassionate communicator who understands the sensitive nature of senior care decisions


• Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work flexible hours

Compensation

$20-$25/hr commensurate with experience. Mileage reimbursement provided for approved community outreach travel.
