Job summary

RISE Services LLC is hiring a compassionate Job Coach / Employment Specialist to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment. The role involves meeting participants at worksites and in the community across Springfield and surrounding Fairfax County, with travel as needed.

A bachelor’s degree is not required; relevant experience in disability services or related fields is welcomed. Training is provided and hours are up to 29 per week, daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is not required.
• Experience in disability services or related fields preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel locally for participant meetings and employer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching at employer worksites and in community settings.
• Help participants learn job duties, workplace routines, safety procedures, and employer expectations.
• Teach workplace communication, professional behavior, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Develop natural workplace supports and monitor participant progress to adjust coaching strategies.
