Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Community Integration Specialist in New York to support individuals through person-centered community activities and inclusive engagement.

The role requires a NYS driver’s license, background check, and a High School Diploma or GED, with a Tuesday–Saturday 11am–7pm schedule and paid training within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead person-centered community engagement activities reflecting individuals’ goals and Life Plans.
• Coordinate and follow structured recreation plans, adapting to program needs.
• Facilitate access to community resources, promoting inclusion and social connections.
