Colonial Group is hiring a Community Inclusion Professional (CIP) to work 100% in the community in sunny San Diego. You will support a small group (1:3) using person-centered approaches, advocacy and empowerment to foster full engagement in the community of choice.

The role requires coaching, planning activities, teaching skills, and documenting progress, with a workday Monday through Friday 8:30am-2:30pm in Coronado, CA. CPR/First Aid training is provided.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six months experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and acceptable DMV record.
• CPR & First Aid certification (training provided)

• Coaching and supporting clients in the community.
• Planning and leading engaging activities.
• Teaching life, social, and vocational skills.
• Assisting with job, volunteer, or educational exploration.
• Documenting client progress before the end of each shift
