Job summary

The Ministerial Association of California Counties, Inc. (MACC) is seeking a Project Specialist to support planning, coordination, and task completion across our PMO and multiple departments in Chico, CA.

You will help execute projects and contribute to larger initiatives under the direction of the Project Manager or Program Director. Ideal candidates bring strong coordination, collaboration, and a heart for community impact, plus experience in nonprofit settings and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s equivalent education or higher in a relevant field or demonstrated experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of community-based project coordination or nonprofit programs.
• Proficient in documentation and project coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day project tasks as assigned by a Project Manager, including research, documentation, vendor communication, training rollout, and logistics.
• Support cross-departmental initiatives across Community Health, Community Food, Workforce Development, and Faith-Based Engagement.
• Manage minor projects independently with timelines, goals, milestones, and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and community partners to implement programs aligned with needs.
