Job summary

Public Equity Llc is offering a paid internship in partnership with the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) through the Illuminate Program. This internship will focus on community impact, violence prevention, and nonprofit leadership, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes various responsibilities from program development to administrative support with opportunities in-person, hybrid, or virtual based on availability. Interns will contribute to impactful projects that support community wellness initiatives across Chicago neighborhoods.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in community efforts.
• Interest in working within nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives.
• Support research, planning, and program development activities.
• Assist with community outreach and engagement efforts.
• Support administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and collaborative team projects.
• Help document project outcomes and accomplishments.
• Contribute creative ideas and solutions to organizational priorities.
