Job summary

PanCare of Florida in Port St. Joe is seeking a skilled Dentist to improve community health through comprehensive dental care.

You will perform exams, diagnose conditions, and provide fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and preventive services while developing personalized treatment plans. A DDS or DMD from an accredited school is required; strong manual dexterity, patient education, and compliance with safety guidelines are essential.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school is required.

• Excellent manual dexterity and coordination are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough exams and assess patients' oral health.
• Diagnose dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and other conditions.
• Perform fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and discuss options.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment histories.
• Ensure sterilization and proper maintenance of all tools and equipment.
• Adhere to health, safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Stay current with advancements in dental practices and treatments.
• Other duties as required.
