Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Community Health Specialist to support the Bond County ROSC project, expanding recovery supports and reducing stigma. The role collaborates with the Bond County Recovery Council and supervision will be out of the Granite City, IL office.

You will primarily work from home or in the community, Bond County, IL, Mon-Fri daytime hours. The anticipated starting pay for new hires is between $44,400 and $50,575 annually, with Chestnut offering robust

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience, or Master's with 2 years.
Or CPS/CRSS/CPRS/CADC with ten years lived experience in mental health or related field.
Knowledge of recovery, program development, needs assessment, and community capacity building.
Grant writing and budgeting experience preferred.
Willingness to travel within site plan area.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate recovery programs and events.
Lead community groups in development of evidence-based programs and practices and recruit new members.
Assist in grant budgeting and provide regular updates to supervisor.
Conduct outreach with community stakeholders and provide data.
Develop, conduct, and analyze needs assessments and program evaluations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate media campaigns and educational materials.
