The Florida Department of Health in Desoto County seeks a Community Health Nursing Director (SES) to lead nursing services across primary care, family planning, STI, epidemiology and immunization programs. You will supervise staff, hire and discipline, and oversee budgets and performance reviews.

This leadership role requires developing policies, coordinating with health partners, and ensuring quality nursing practice.

Qualificações

Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Current Florida Registered Nursing License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Verifiable experience managing nursing personnel or clinical staff.

Responsabilidades

Directs nursing services in CHD with a small staff and budgeting responsibilities.
Develops and evaluates nursing policies and procedures.
Oversees recruitment, performance appraisals, training and staff development.
Prepares CHD budget and administers approved nursing budget.
Represents nursing in collaboration with partners and agencies.
