Job summary

Saddle Brook Apartments in Dallas, TX is seeking an entry-level Community Groundskeeper to help maintain the appearance and safety of the property. This hands-on role focuses on keeping outdoor spaces clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

You will perform physical outdoor work, support routine landscaping tasks, and assist the maintenance team on various projects as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for this opportunity with Gaines

• Maintaining pool and recreational areas.
• Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents.
• Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.

What Does a Groundskeeper Do?

Groundskeepers play an important role in keeping our apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active throughout the workday.

Responsibilities may include:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areas
• Picking up litter and debris throughout the property
• Keeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas clean
• Assisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Maintaining pool and recreational areas
• Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents
• Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Helping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well maintained
• Performing physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions

You don't need previous apartment maintenance or property management experience to be considered for an entry-level Groundskeeper opportunity.
