Job summary

VOALA is seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver (Class B) to operate the VOALA Passenger shuttle and other VOALA vehicles, transporting program participants and staff on scheduled routes. The role may include kitchen deliveries, donation pickups, and adherence to safety protocols.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one within 6 months, and be comfortable working with at-risk populations in a on-site, community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to work with vulnerable populations in VOALA programs.
• Valid California CDL Class B license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Transport program participants to and from locations and facilities.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs and mobility devices as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
• Document trips, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Deliver meals as required and support kitchen/donation routes.
