Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment goals and plans with documentation.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects modalities and therapies suited to each resident’s needs and diagnosis.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to determine appropriate regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and monitors progress.
• Adapts programs to individual resident needs.
• Promotes safety and removes hazards in the environment.
• Attends care conferences and related meetings.
• Supervises support staff per standards.
• Conducts training for staff in therapies techniques.
• Orders supplies and equipment as needed.
• Maintains and reports equipment status and repairs.
• Ensures high quality, compassionate care for residents.
