Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dallas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful progress.

You will assess patients, develop and implement personalized care plans, supervise therapy sessions, and guide families and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Masters Degree preferred, or Bachelors Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
