Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers and provide excellent service. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude, even with challenging customers, while supporting the store's day-to-day operations.

Primary duties include cash register transactions, maintaining store appearance, and potential cross-training in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Physical duties may involve lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cash Register/Customer Service.
• Store appearance: Rotating stock, tidying and continually keeping the store looking its best.
• Cross-training in Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations; receivers may lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10–35 pounds frequently; includes tagging textile & clothing in production setting.
