Job summary

As part of the role you will implement and coordinate fitness and wellness activities, assess residents’ needs and abilities, lead diverse group exercise classes, monitor equipment and ensure safety, and oversee program maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coordinate a fitness and wellness program.
• Evaluate and assess the needs and physical capabilities of each resident.
• Formulate and implement a program of exercise suited to each individual.
• Lead a variety of challenging and safe group exercise classes.
• Lead exercise programs and monitor individuals as they use exercise equipment.
• Conduct assessment, initial and ongoing, of residents and guide their participation in exercise programs and initiatives.
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness equipment.
