Guardian Outreach Ministries Inc. is a rapidly growing, faith-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Florida dedicated to preventing veteran suicide through community outreach. We serve veterans, first responders, and local communities by fostering mentorship, fellowship, and practical support to help individuals rediscover purpose and hope. Our hands‑on approach includes over 120 Guardian Day events each weekend across a national network of golf course partners, making our mission impactful. This is a flexible part‑time position with shifts primarily Thursday through Sunday during daytime business hours, with occasional early morning or evening events, traveling directly from home to local event locations.
As our Community Engagement Specialist, you'll head directly to local golf courses and community events, where you'll set up and represent Guardian Community with professionalism and warmth. As attendees arrive, you'll engage them in genuine conversations‑sharing the mission, answering questions, and helping create a welcoming experience. Throughout the day, you'll support outreach activities, interact with potential supporters, and assist with event setup and breakdown, all while playing a vital role in strengthening community connections and advancing a meaningful cause.
Experience in golf, community outreach, promotional events, fundraising, customer service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
