Job summary

Living Redemption Community Development Corporation in Harlem, NY, seeks a Community Engagement Specialist to lead outreach for the Atlas Functional Family Therapy (FFT) team. This role reports to the FFT Program Director and serves as the first point of contact for community referral partners, guiding connections to voluntary therapeutic programming and resources.

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with the criminal justice system or working with returning citizens is valued.
• Experience working with high-risk populations and diverse communities is preferred.
• Must be able to provide references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic partnerships with neighborhood CBOs to generate referral and resource partnerships.
• Collaborate on outreach strategies to build awareness of Atlas programming.
• Engage with the community, attend evening and weekend events, and support borough initiatives.
• Engage with Atlas Initiative stakeholders and agency referral partners.
• Collaborate on client engagement planning with FFT team.
• Assist with crisis intervention, support, and safety planning for participants as needed.
• Engage families and provide referrals for participants as needed.
