Job summary

Accord in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking an Employment Specialist who is organized, people-focused, and creative. You will manage a caseload, provide flexible employment supports, and help individuals explore, develop, and maintain competitive employment in the community.

The role combines in-person and remote work with occasional evenings or weekends. You will engage teams, attend meetings, and drive scheduling, transportation, and reporting to support clients.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a vehicle.
• Must pass a Department of Human Services background study.
• If you hold a Social Work degree, you must be currently licensed as a Social Worker.
• Electronic Health Record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of individuals whom you get to know, support, and champion.
• Provide flexible, individualized employment supports in three areas: Exploration/Discovery, Development, and Support.
• Engage in communication with support teams, planning, and represent Accord.
• Attend meetings, advocate for the person you serve, and provide them with training.
• Go to job sites and support the person when needed.
• Organize the details—schedule appointments, arrange transportation, and talk with employers.
• Write reports and maintain licensing requirements.
• Explore, develop, and use your creative talents to help people find work.
