Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension invites applications for the part-time Association Program Educator II position in Hamilton County, NY. This role delivers education using established curricula, represents the extension before community stakeholders, and supports program evaluation and administration.

The employee will work about 21 hours per week, starting pay $16 per hour, with benefits eligible and located at the CCE Hamilton office in Piseco. Travel and evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education is required; GED/HS diploma may substitute with relevant experience.
• Ability to present effective educational lessons to diverse audiences.
• Basic computer skills and word processing proficiency required.
• Fluent English communication (speaking, reading and writing).
• Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education using existing materials and frameworks.
• Represent Cornell Cooperative Extension in the community and with partners.
• Interact with program participants and provide responsive support.
• Maintain participant records and required program paperwork; assist with budgeting.
• Collaborate with supervisor to adapt materials and support program objectives.
