Horizon Health is seeking a Community Education Manager to join our team at Abbeville General Hospital in Abbeville, LA. This is a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric unit treating ages 18+. The Community Education Manager, in conjunction with the Program Director, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive community education program. He/she coordinates the referral development/sales process, develops and maintains accurate community education information and account management systems, as well as coordinating the unit’s internal and external communications program. Functions as preceptor to provide training and support to subordinate Community Liaison’s as needed.
