Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• FQHC experience is highly preferred.
• One year of experience as a registered dental assistant is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and knowledge of the local community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in restorative dentistry or oral surgery chairside.
• Take x-rays and prepare materials and equipment for treatment.
• Schedule appointments, answer the phone and assist with billing as needed.
• Maintain infection control and clinical supply inventory.
• Provide patient support, education and compassionate care.
