Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of employment
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must meet Oregon DPSST certification eligibility requirements
• Must successfully complete required testing, background investigation, medical, physical, and psychological evaluations

Responsibilities

• Patrol operations to deter crime and ensure public safety
• Investigate incidents and enforce laws with professionalism
• Address traffic enforcement and respond to emergencies
• Engage with the community through community‑oriented policing
• Maintain clear and accurate communications and records
